A portfolio piece for a classic - Ernest Hemingway’s memoir from his years working as a young writer in Paris in the 1920s. I wanted to reimagine the cover to appeal to a modern day audience in the contemporary style, colours and hand drawn script. The image replicates the swirl of Hemingways pen whilst also nodding to a sense of place in replicating La Seine river in Paris where Hemingway would stroll.
